We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) with a strong sales background and knowledge of the Industrial and Manufacturing Internet of Things (IoT) sector. You will be working closely with the CEO and the management team. This role is pivotal to our sales team, as you will be responsible for conducting outbound sales activities, generating leads, and building a robust pipeline to drive the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound sales activities including cold calling, running email campaigns, and employing other strategic approaches to identify and engage potential customers in the industrial and manufacturing IoT space.
  • Leverage your sales expertise to qualify leads, ensuring they meet our criteria and are potential matches for our IoT products and services.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of all interactions with potential customers using CRM software.
  • Continuously learn about our product capabilities, features, and value propositions, as well as important market trends and offerings.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to gather intelligence on industry trends, identify key decision-makers, and gain insights into competitor activities.
  • Serve as an effective communicator, conveying our product's value proposition to potential clients, and addressing their needs and concerns with tailored solutions.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a BDR or similar sales role, with a track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Prior experience in the industrial, manufacturing, or IoT sectors is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Excellent research skills, with the ability to gather and analyze market and competitor insights.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
